The church is a people that have a divine call that comes from God, not themselves. The story of Jonah is how God's call first exposes him of his sin and then leads him to seek the grace he has assumed and forgotten. In order for this journey to take place, Jonah and we must counter and face God's true and high call. (Jon 1:1-2)
